Cakeory blog gets a custom URL

It took 4 days – silly web hosting company – but I now have a lovely shiny custom URL for this blog.  See it up there in the address bar?

As this blogger blog has been growing, it has become a central place for all of my directories.  I originally created it because I wanted a blogger profile to comment on other blogs, but as is the way with these things, I couldn't resist posting on it.  Now the site feels special to me, so I want to keep it going and make it something special.  This site has also become a single address I can use on places like Twitter to lead people to my main sites – there are three of them after all.

Cake Decorating Directories starts Twittering

You may have noticed in my side bar that I am now on Twitter, as Cakeory.  I intend to tweet all major changes to my sites, and blog directory additions.  This will create a new way for anyone interested in cake decorating, either fans of blogs or the blog owners themselves to keep up with site news.

Beta testing Cake Decorating Classes Directory

Yay, my new directory plugin is in beta testing right now.  Okay, beta testing is a programming term, it means that a piece of software is being tested and fixed.  There are a few little glitches we are finding, but it still looks fantastic, even if I do say so myself.
